Local restaurants are serving up 'pink' desserts during the month of September with proceeds going to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. It's to help promote the "Run for the Cure" coming up Sunday, October 3rd supported by local first KISS F.M.  The start/finish at Fulton Secondary.  Participating restaurants include:  BX Creek Bar and Grill in the Best Western Vernon Lodge, the Vernon Golf and Country Club and others.  Ask wherever you go!  And to register for "Run for the Cure" you can contact committee member Chandel Christie at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
