Enderby is going to be a busy place for construction this fall.
A Kamloops company has been awarded the contract to build the new M-V Beattie elementary school worth $8.5 million.
It's expected to take 13 months.
Meantime, a project to improve traffic flow through the city will start after Labour Day.
The 4 million dollar upgrade to Highway 97A will move one traffic light from Cliff to Hubert Avenue, put in a second one at Mill Ave, and add left turn lanes which has been a sticking point for traffic.
The Kamloops firm awarded that contract has until next spring to get it done.
