Westside Fire

There was significant fire structure damage to residences at Coyote Crossing Villas on the Westside Friday afternoon. 

The blaze caused thick plumes of black smoke, visible from the downtown area of Vernon. 

The fire destroyed 3 units and damaged 1 within the mobile home development. Armstrong Spallumcheen Fire Dept. assisted the Okanagan Indian Band Volunteer Fire Dept.

The extent of damage, nor origin of the blaze is known at this time pending official word from the OKIB Volunteer Fire Dept.
