You love french fries, do ya? Well your guilty pleasure is going big. REALLY big.
Thanks to a recently posted video from ‘Insider Food’, we’ve learned the existence of extra-long french fries in Japan. Best stock up on the ketchup for THIS ride.
A restaurant called Harajuki Gyoza serves french fries that are over a foot long. In the video below, the restaurant’s operations manager explains that long fries are extremely popular in Japan, and the trend is now being shared with Australians. To make the extra long fries, mashed potatoes are formed into balls and placed into a device that presses the mashed potatoes into long strips. The strips are fried like regular fries and, voila!….you’ve got one biiiiiiiiiiig french fry.
What do you think? Yummy……or weird??
