As Kiss FM celebrates 70 years and we reflect on so many changes in that time such as the first walk on the moon, Elvis, the invention of the internet and more, I can’t help but think how much views have changed on certain topics, take the pot debate for instance.
Earlier this week 1075kiss.com and 1075 Kiss FM received a great deal of feedback with regards to Wednesday’s Say of the Day “Do you think so called ‘pot shops should be allowed to operate despite marijuana sales still being illegal in Canada. I also posted a photo of a medicinal marijuana business that took part in a 55+ B.C. Games event and asked for thoughts about it all.
These are just a few comments from our KISS FM TEXTERS.
“Mel, just heard the person speaking about the pot shop in the area and how they are an option to buy on the black market. However, pot shop currently are black market. Licensed Canada’s producers cannot legally sell through a storefront. So the products you were buying are untested.
As unsafe as anything you buy on the street. Legitimate prescriptions can be filled through legitimate mean, but no pot storefront as a business license or license to sell on the federal government
If you would like, I can send you the letter I got from the cannabis board from the health Canada office and it describes in detail exactly what I just said”~Paul
So we’ve asked Paul to send his info/documents and hope to have those on this blog later today.
