RCMP say 37 year old Andrew Robert Pigott of Vernon has been charged with one count of robbery and one count of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He appeared in Vernon provincial court Thursday.
A 37 year old man is due in court today in connection with a recent robbery in Vernon.
Just before 11 am on Saturday, a man walked into the Subway restaurant on 27th Street demanding cash.
It’s alleged the suspect pepper sprayed the staff during the course of the robbery.
They were all treated and released without serious injury.
Police were able to identify a suspect and make an arrest later.
The suspect’s name can’t be released until he is charged.
