Now that I’m an adult (sort of ) and I no longer go ‘back to school’ I realize how much fun it was heading back to class. Seeing old friends, the chance to start fresh, and of course the new outfits.
So even though today is just a Tuesday for me, and not the first day of class, I can still give you some tips for navigating the whole “I have to get up early again and pretend to be a human being” thing. Because hey, I’ve been there.
Let’s start with the first thing you do in the morning, wake up.
It may seem simple, but many of us forget to do these things on the daily. One thing we can’t deny is that getting good quality sleep is a building block for success.
Next, you’re probably going to have to study at some point this year, right? There are many tips and tricks to get the most out of your brain, but have you heard of the pomodoro method?
Finally, and this might be more helpful for university students but there is no harm in knowing about it, instead of using google.ca, use scholar.google.ca. This is a great tool for references and citations, which anyone who has written a paper knows can be quite the task.
So there you go, a few helpful hints on getting back to it. Happy back to school!
