As we head into the last long weekend before school starts I’ve been reflecting on some of the great events and people I was able to visit with over the summer. I’m sharing some of my photos and I hope you will. One of the later summer highlights includes meeting people at the IPE. But I’ve had some memorable moments throughout the summer. From a recent clearer sunset with not as much smoke, to getting a spurt of rain earlier in August, to kayaking, beaching it, seeing the sights from Penticton, through the Okanagan, Nakusp and Vancouver Island, I’m realizing just how much smoke we’ve been breathing in from the devastating B.C. fires. Also if you travel around you can’t help but notice the broken docks and roadwork affected by all the rain and waves in the spring. What a summer. Summer 2017 is one for the history books. And yet we still live in a such a beautiful place. Beautiful B.C. Let’s try to keep it safe this long weekend.
