The 118th annual Interior Provincial Exhibition is on track for a busy final three days.
Thousands more came out for the second day of the Armstrong Fair on Thursday.
“We had a great day here. The attendance was 22,584. It’s fantastic. We’re very happy with that,” says general manger Yvonne Paulson.
Paulson says the total was 10 more than the second day last year.
Paulson says they have extra water, and lots of shaded areas for people to get out of the sun as they get set for a hot and dry final few days.
“We’ve got our water truck driving the grounds, trying to keep the dust down. We’ve got extra water that’s being brought in. We’ve got lots of first aid on hand, if that’s needed.”
The fair continues until Sunday.
