Hurricane Harvey caused some pretty serious destruction, and pushed never before seen floodwaters into Houston.
When adversity hits, people been together, and take care of each other. Fire ants, apparently, are no different.
When faced with certain watery doom, fire ants kick into survival mode. The ants will link legs and create “rafts” so they all stay together. In this way, they effectively become a terrifying floating mass of fiery destruction that masquerades as a floating pile of sawdust or wood chips.
