How badly do we need rain? Perhaps some of these photos taken in the last week will answer that question. The weather forecast is calling for rain this weekend, will you be praying for it?.
When I took the photo of the old-abandoned church off Westside Road, I couldn’t help but think how easy one spark could change the view to ash.
These photos taken off of Okanagan Landing Road pretty much sum up what Mother Nature has visited us with over the last 3 months. Note the dry hills/mountains, smoke in the distance (as we actually had a bid of a reprieve from it last Saturday), the washed out dock/boat house damage, etc.
I was also reminded by a cousin who’s been around horses all his life that even a horseshoe can create spark! These photos show just how tinder dry it is off of Westside Road.
