This we’ve asked listeners to send in their photos of the smoky sky we’ve been seeing for quite some time.
Regan emailed these photos to firstname.lastname@example.org of a Kal Lake sunrise this week. The sun and moon have been so red this week!
My friend Athena Grelson shared some photos of her dog “Jasper”smiling in the smoke at Cousin’s Bay!
Tricia Ireland emailed these photos to email@example.com. They were taken at the Kal Lake Lookout on Aug 7.
Jim sent this photo through our facebook page on 1075kiss.com. He says “West Kal Road, Kal Lake is in there somewhere”!
Christina Goldie sent this one today “From up Silver Star. Definitely worse than yesterday. From Star Rd. Where’d the lakes go?? It’s like Stephen King’s The Mist, just waiting for the tentacled monsters”!
I took these photos outside my home of the sunrise! The smoke is expected to stick around for several days. In the midst of it all, it makes for some interesting photos.
If you have photos to share, please pass them on. Perhaps sharing these photos can serve as a reminder of just how precious the Okanagan is! Take care and be safe!
