I love a good home pedicure, usually I plunk down in front of the t.v., soak my feet for awhile, scrub them as well as I can, and then attempt to paint my nails the same shade of red on every toe.
Of course, I would rather someone else take care of my feet, seeing as I can never quite get all the rough patches, and the polish doesn’t look nearly as good on one foot as the other. But alas, sometimes a girl has got to stick to her budget!
Which brings me to my favourite thing for today, a revolution in the home foot treatment, I had heard of these things, but had the nerve to try one, until now.
Foot masks are like a chemical peel, for your feet. I know that sounds sort of scary, but I did my research and like most products there can be side effects for some people (pregnant women, people with diabetes) but it seems safe.
The results are supposed to be amazing, baby smooth feet 1-2 weeks after the initial application. I’ve been waiting for a good time to do this because one of the warning’s is not to try it before a big event and well, I’ve had a ton of those this summer. So it looks like this week is the best week to do it!
And of course, I will document the process for your viewing and listening pleasure (or disgust, I’ve heard there is a lot of shedding). But like anything your going to try on your skin for the first time, I suggest doing a patch test. I’m going to, but I also have very sensitive skin.
So tune in next week as I give the results of my foot mask, I got mine from Shoppers, but they are available online and at most drug stores.
If you are into shedding feet, you can google baby feet reviews. If not…best steer clear of that.
