It’s been a busy spring for members of the North Okanagan Cycling Society.
Aside from enjoying the great outdoors on their bikes, members have been repairing some of the trails they’ve blazed in local parks.
Daniel Poulin with the Society says they’ve had to do work in the Cougar Canyon area of Kal Park after a hard winter.
“It was very substantial. The amount of water that we had coming off one of our newer trails, Stone Free, actually, that trail specifically needed a lort, a lot of work.”
Work was finished on that a couple of weeks ago.
He says trails are startiung to dry out more now.
Society members are out every 2nd Monday working on maintaining trails
