A large truck ended up on its side along the highway south of Vernon this morning.
It was an interesting sight for passing motorists who wondered how it got in that state.
Vernon Fire Rescue Captain Mike Stoll says the driver had pulled to the side of the road by the army camp around 9 am, and the shoulder gave way, and it rolled onto its side.
“It was like a five ton crane truck,” says Stoll, who says a tow truck was called to right it.
“There were no injuries or leaks of any kind,” adds Stoll.
