Oops! Sometimes in life you make a mistake and no one notices, sometimes…everyone notices, and then they takes photos and share the blunder on social media for the world to see…and laugh at.
This is the case in Revelstoke, where crews are working on re-painting the lines on local road. Last week they were tasked with spelling out SCHOOL near Columbia Park Elementary. Unfortunately there is no spell check in real life, and the person responsible made a bit of an error.
As you may notice, that is not how you spell the word school. Many other residents noticed and before long it had hit viral levels.
So how does something like this even happen? A city official told Global News that the stencils come in sets of two, and the second set containing the H and O are ambigrams, which means they look the same right side up and upside down.
It didn’t stop residents from poking fun though.
According to the city, contractors fixed the mistake on Wednesday, but photos last forever!
