It seems like everything is getting a reboot these days, from t.v. shows to movies, and even food. You might think “Why can’t anyone come up with any new ideas?” and I would have to agree with you.
But what if something was taken away from us too soon? And bringing it back now was the only fair and just and right thing to do?
I’m talking about Clearly Canadian, the flavoured sparkling water that every 90’s kid loved. In 2009 it quietly disappeared, but a crowdfunding page in 2015 was determined to bring it back to shelves.
Now, over 2 years later, Clearly Canadian is back in stores in all the classic flavours, Wild Cherry, Orchard Peach, Mountain Blackberry, and Country Raspberry.
See? Even Elaine enjoyed a cold, refreshing, Clearly Canadian now and then.
It looks like supplies will be limited, so if you do see some in stores, might as well stock up, and grab me a couple as well.
Oh and if you were wondering about Orbitz making a comeback, this is the company’s response:
“Orbitz! Orbitz! Orbitz! We know there is a serious following seeking Clearly Canadian original Orbitz. We are researching whether Orbitz can in fact be re-produced – it was and remains an incredibly technologically advanced drink. Have you seen a bottle from 1997? The balls are still floating! NO JOKE. Last we checked an unscrupulous corporate trademark troll (they are always picking on the Clearly community) was trying to take the name from the community too! Feel like egging someone?”
