Hundreds of people gathered in St. Ann’s Square yesterday for a moment of silence.
A crowd of mourners came together to remember the 22 people who were killed at an Ariana Grande concert Monday in Manchester.
After the moment was over, a woman began to sing ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’, a song by popular Manchester band Oasis.
The rest of the crowd quickly joined in, and the spontaneous chorus was caught on camera by Guardian reporter Josh Halliday.
Noel Gallagher, who wrote the song, took to Twitter to share one of the videos.
The Guardian reports the lone singer was 32-year-old Lydia Bernsmeier-Rullow, who says it gave her shivers to hear everyone in the square joining in with her.
