Last night’s double rainbow in the Vernon area caused a flurry of activity on social media. If you have photos to share, TALK or TEXT the info to 250-545-7557, Facebook, Tweet, Instagram or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The hummingbird feeder/double rainbow photo is courtesy of Jason Tissington who says
“Happy to say I get a variation of this shot every year at about this time. It’s a beautiful world, people”!
Reg Neufeld sent us this photo that he took last night of the double rainbows over Polson Park.
Also the much talked about rainbow cross walk installation has been rescheduled for 4 PM-9PM today. It will be Vernon’s first Rainbow Crosswalk. The eight-colour symbol is going to be painted on 30th Avenue between 33rd and 34th Streets. So that part of 30 Ave will be closed after 6 PM tonight! More details can be found on NEWS on 1075kiss.com
