If you haven’t heard of them by now, you must be living under a rock. I’m sorry, but fidget spinners are the hottest new thing around, and they are not going away.
The small plastic device can provide a sense of comfort and peace in stressful situations. They can also provide a way to concentrate during a dull meeting, according to their website.
“Because our fidget toys fit in your hand and are made with the best materials, you won’t ever have to deal with a lack of tactile stimulation again.”
The toys range anywhere from $6.99 to $49.99 and come in a variety of colours, shapes, and styles, but why do people love them so much?
Some schools are starting to ban the spinning menaces, but when you really think about who these devices benefit, you might take a different stance.
“Fidget Spinners” are supposed to keep your hands occupied so that you can concentrate better on something else, a meeting, a lecture, or otherwise.
Who do you think could use fidget spinners to their advantage? Maybe kids with ADD, especially in the technology age we live in, this toy doesn’t use batteries, doesn’t make noise, and doesn’t require a whole lot of attention.
As opposed to smart phones and tablets, hmm…which ones should we be banning in schools?
So if your interested in buying one for some disctracted person in your life, you can head to amazon and find one for cheap, but I’ve still added one that I really like to this blog.
It’s the Brass Triangular Spinner (with stainless steel caps) but I just like it cause it looks like gooooold. You can find it here for $34.95
