Nels Harrington has dropped out of the provincial election campaign locally.
Harrington was representing the BC Conservative Party in Vernon-Monashee.
He tells Kiss-FM he’s realized he’s just too busy with his business to continue.
Harrington says April is usually a quiet month, but that’s changed.
He says his campaign manager also has decided he doesn’t have time either.
Harrington says he doesn’t have any real hopes the Conservatives could run and form government but he hoped to play devil’s advocate in the public forums.
He says there are several issues he’s interested in, including privatization of public assets.
Harrington says he will continue to speak out as he has time.
