The Kindale Developmental Association is ready to put a community donation into use.
The Kalamalka Rotary Club has provided the group with $5,040 from its Dream Auction.
Kindale’s Executive director B Elliott says they will use it for renovations to Seaton Centre, one of their day program facilities.
“One of the huge things we’re renovating is one of the washrooms we’re adding on to, so it will have a wheelchair accessible shower. We’re completely wheelchair accessible for the washroom which is very much needed.”
The Seaton Centre on Polson Drive, provides activities for people with diverse abilities.
