Colouring never gets old for me. Sure, I don’t do it as often as I did during childhood, but it makes for a good time every now and then.
Sometimes, like when at the restaurant (and I request the kids colouring pages) all I have to work with is this:
By far, my favourite is the 64 box with the built in sharpener. Because as far as mediocre upgrades to crayons go, the built in sharpener is KING!
The best value around is the 24 box of crayons. It’s a small enough pack that I don’t need to reorganize my house, and has a wide enough colour palate that we can have a discussion about why they have to call it “cerulean” instead of “blue.” On Friday. March 31st, (National Crayon Day) Crayola is going to retire one of the colours in the 24 box – I sure hope it’s not going to be my conversation-piece-colour.
